CEDIA EXPO 2009 TO REMAIN AT EXCEL LONDON
CEDIA Expo, the annual trade show and education event of the Custom
Electronic Design and Installation Association, has revealed that it
will be at ExCeL London in 2009. The dates for this event will take
place from 22nd to 25th June 2009 (training: 22nd to 25th June;
exhibition: 23rd to 25th June).
CEDIA Expo is the only showcase and education event for the trade
dedicated to the design, installation and integration of home
electronic systems and the 2009 Expo will see a fourth consecutive
event at ExCeL London. Over the past three years the venue has
proven ideal for CEDIA offering its extensive educational programme
alongside an ever popular exhibition. The South Gallery rooms nearby
the exhibition floor are ideal for the extensive Expo education
programme providing light, spacious rooms with the necessary
facilities to present quality seminars and workshops.
“We are delighted to remain at ExCeL London for a further year,”
says CEDIA’s Executive Director, Wendy Griffiths. “ExCeL London has
been an excellent home for us over the last three years and because
it’s in the region of London which is being developed for the 2012
Olympics there’s a great buzz surrounding the area which makes it a
great base for our networking events. Last year we boarded a
riverboat on the Thames, this year it’s a party at the O2 - and who
knows what next year will bring!”
From modest beginnings in Harrogate in 1996, when just over 300
attended, the 2008 CEDIA Expo attracted nearly 7,500 trade visitors
and continues to grow.
Now in its 12th year, CEDIA Expo has grown into one of the most
important dates in the European calendar for home electronic
systems. Offering an extensive education programme alongside a
comprehensive trade-only exhibition which showcases the latest
technologies and products for the residential custom install
industry, CEDIA Expo is a must-attend event for all home electronic
system designers, installers, equipment manufacturers and
distributors. It also provides an invaluable insight into the
sector, its integrated technologies and lifestyle benefits for
housebuilders, architects and interior designers.
