Marshall-Tufflex - Kent building firm scoops prize for guttering
project

Marriott, of Marriott Home Services, Whitfield, Kent, is the latest
entrant to win a Nintendo Wii games console in the nationwide search
for prestigious guttering projects showcasing Marshall-Tufflex
products.
Six months into the competition, entries are still pouring in, in
response to an appeal for guttering installers to send in
photographs of their work to leading manufacturer Marshall-Tufflex.
“We are continually impressed with the exceedingly high standard of
workmanship shown in the entries we receive,” said a Marshall-Tufflex
spokesperson.
George Marriott has more than 30 years of experience in the building
industry and specialises in fascias, soffits, guttering and down
pipes. He used Marshall-Tufflex moulded Universal System Plus, a
deep flow guttering in white with concealed brackets on the home of
Mr & Mrs Marsh of Nursery Lane, Whitfield, who wanted to match the
guttering of their new extension with their conservatory, both of
which were installed by Marriott Homes Services.
“The owners were so delighted with the job,” said George, “that they
had the majority of the house refurbished with Universal System Plus
guttering and concealed brackets, turning what began as one job into
several at the same house. Concealed brackets really ‘sell the job’,
as they are easy to clean and have the option of both external and
internal fitting.
“I use Marshall-Tufflex all the time now and have done two further
jobs using this same product.
Eurocell Building Plastics’ Folkestone branch supplied both the
conservatory and guttering for the winning project.
Commenting on his Wii games console prize, George said: “I’m having
great fun with it, but then so is my 26-year-old son!”
