As part of Armour Home's continuous development of its integration programme with Systemnet on the Systemline S6 and Modular products, the company is pleased to announce the integration of Sky broadcasting.

Using Systemline Modular's stylish colour touch screen, customers can now select their favourite Sky channel using the logo menu on the intuitive screen and obtain instant informatio n on the programme being broadcast. Aside from accessing the channel through the logo, simple navigation controls are also available to access menus from the Sky box. Such a design is particularly useful for customers listening to digital radio or wanting to access Sky content throughout the home.

This latest addition to the integration programme - which comes on the back of integration with iPort, Lutron lighting control, the Systemline Music Server, Arcam DAB Tuner and Konnex EIB for heating and lighting control - makes Systemline so much more than just an in-built entertainment system. With this integration, Systemline now becomes an affordable home automation system operating an ever expanding range of third party products.

The screen itself is a high resolution, high contrast wall mounted VGA touch screen operating via RS232 to provide real two-way feedback. It forms part of Armour Home's Systemline Modular which allows for single or multi source audio and video to be played in up to eight different rooms. Residents simply plug in their existing home entertainment equipment into a wall socket and listen to / view the contents in any chosen room using a remote control or keypad, depending on the level of Systemline package chosen. Discreet mono, stereo and 5.1 cinema surround sound is all available through Systemline, played through unique in-ceiling amplified speakers which deliver outstanding high fidelity sound, yet remain discreet.
