Ethos Wiring Systems Ltd are delighted to announce its acquisition of Cable Management Solutions Ltd (a member of the Floorplan Group of companies).

The head office and administration function of Ethos Wiring Systems will operate from its existing location at London Stansted Airport whilst manufacturing will continue to operate from its already well established manufacturing facilities near Preston in Lancashire.

Following major capital investment, plans to expand these manufacturing facilities have already been implemented to ensure the continued high standards of manufacturing quality and reliability whilst increasing manufacturing capacity threefold before the end of the year.

Ethos Wiring Systems will continue to operate across all construction sectors in the UK offering a range of prefabricated wiring solutions or “modular wiring” as well as conventional cable management products and systems such as floor boxes, grommets, desk modules and various data solutions.

The new board of directors consists of Mike Johnson (Commercial Director), David Tripp (Operations Director) and Ian Fitt (Sales Director). Collectively, these individuals bring more than 90 years experience of the electrical industry and will spearhead the business into becoming the UK market leader of prefabricated wiring systems within 3 years.

Although this announcement has come at a time of economic uncertainty and when many companies in the UK are downsizing, the business has already secured a number of major and prestigious projects, particularly in the commercial office fit out sector and has gained firm commitments for a number of other major projects in other sectors.
