A new, high security, fully automatic locking system has been launched by Fuhr.

Fuhr Multisafe 833 combines advanced security with convenience, by providing an automatic locking solution that makes it impossible to inadvertently leave an entrance door unlocked and insecure.

The Fuhr Multisafe 833 automatically locks an entrance door the moment it is closed, protecting the occupants inside from intrusion from unauthorised and unwelcome visitors! Simply close the door and two solid 20mm throw latching dead bolts engage automatically as soon as the door is closed, providing advanced resistance to forced entry. However, unlocking from inside is made easy – the handle is simply operated in the usual way immediately withdrawing all locking points in a swift, single action. This feature is especially useful when wishing to leave the building quickly, or when young children leave the house. However, once the door closes, the lock is automatically activated and the building is secure.

Fuhr Multisafe 833 also provides a perfect solution for older home owners, where the combination of high security and ease of use provide total peace of mind both for the resident and their families.

Fuhr Multisafe 883 is a perfect high security solution for the Single leaf entrance doors and French Doors for both residential properties as well as public building, as the locking system can be used with PVCu, aluminium and timber doors. And, as the lock is permanently engaged when the door is closed, Fuhr Multisafe 833 also helps prevent door warping by always applying pressure to the weather seals.

A night/child-proof locking facility is also provided as standard – a simple key turn locks the interior lever and main dead bolt – and a choice of security levels is available to suit specific customer or application requirements.
