HUGE BOOST FOR EXPO VISITOR REGISTRATIONS
 The biennial kbbreview EXPO 2009, in partnership with the Tile &
Stone Show and Floorstyle, is defying the current economic doom and
gloom by increasing the number of pre-registered visitors to the
ExCeL London show by over two thirds when compared to the same stage
of the 2007 event
Backed by an extensive and targeted marketing programme - double the
size and budget of the 2007 event and arguably the largest ever seen
for a UK based KBB trade show - the organisers have ensured that
exhibitors will benefit from maximum exposure and show manager Mark
Pearson believes that this high profile campaign, coupled with the
added value of the Tile & Stone Show and Floorstyle is capturing the
attention of target audiences.
"This is very positive for us as we only started our visitor
campaign a few weeks ago. We've invested heavily to make sure that
our exhibitors have the strongest platform for 2009, reaching the
widest possible audience," he said. "Our powerful new branding has
been extremely well received within the industry and forging a
partnership with the Tile & Stone Show and Floorstyle has been
invaluable. The additional concept of high quality and relevant
features, such as the stylish international-themed Hotel Zone, has
clearly been exactly what the industry is looking for."
With six months still remaining before doors open on May 10 2009,
the consistent quality of visitor base that EXPO has traditionally
enjoyed is already evident in the registration figures this time
around. Alongside some of the key names within the industry,
delegates from a broad spectrum - 10% interior designers and another
10% architects, developers and specifiers – are so far set to
attend.
"We've looked at our visitor registrations and, because of our
strong and varied offering, we're attracting the people that
exhibitors need to reach. This is on top of the core audience of
retailers and manufacturers. This really matters at the moment, when
things are tough out there. Put simply, exhibitors need to know that
to come to EXPO will give them the strongest possible profile"
"I think all this shows a real desire surrounding the industry to
get out and find new products and new opportunities in this very
difficult market," Pearson said. "Visitors are looking to boost
their own offering and get some valuable advice on how to beat the
credit crunch. This is really positive news and shows we're doing
the right thing."
The latest exhibitors added to the line-up at the show include Bosch
Power Tools, Compac UK and Reginox. They join a healthy list of
names involved with EXPO and those supporters of the Awards - Easy
Quote, Electrolux, Gaggenau, Hansgrohe, Hotpoint, Ideal Standard,
Jacuzzi, Just Trays, Lucite, Mira, Neff, Planit Fusion, Poggenpohl,
Qualceram Shires, Roca, Twyford and Whirlpool.
The full line-up will be available early in the New Year.
