A new brochure issued by EGGER UK underlines the company’s ability to provide a comprehensive range of flooring solutions for the construction industry and represents a convenient reference guide for architects, builders, flooring contractors and merchants alike. The publication details various EGGER products, including flooring panels with removable protective layers, panels for large span applications, a floor laying system, and panels for high load and heavy duty flooring applications.

The company’s unique new Decorative Protect tongue and groove flooring features in the brochure. Ideal for many applications including housing, schools and care homes, Decorative Protect combines many laying benefits with impressive structural qualities and a unique wood grain finish. The ability to resist the effects of weathering for up to 42 days allows Decorative Protect to reduce weather-related interruptions to construction, withstand humid conditions and dramatically improve the presentation of new buildings. The new brochure complements the inclusion of Decorative Protect with details of EGGER Protect – a P5 flooring grade chipboard panel faced on either side with resin impregnated kraft paper that protects against moisture penetration.

EGGER’s Peel Clean Xtra is also profiled in the brochure. This moisture-resistant chipboard is covered with an easily removable anti-slip polyethylene film that provides surface protection from site traffic and wet trades while building works are in progress. Alongside this are details of EGGER’s P5 flooring grade chipboard. Specified by the NHBC for new-build applications the Peel Clean Xtra boards are available in 18mm and 22mm thicknesses and are machine profiled to provide a precise tongue and groove profile.

The ability of EGGER’s BBA approved Rapid Deck Floor Laying System to reduce installation times is also outlined in the brochure. Alongside this are details of the company’s Eurospan P5 and P6 flooring boards (designed for humid environments and heavy duty load-bearing applications respectively), its Eurostrand® 8000 heavy duty load-bearing board for construction and industrial applications, and its HDX range of heavy duty tongue and grooved flooring panels for mezzanine flooring and storage platform applications.
