New business development manager to drive IP security confirms Xtralis ADPRO IP-focused credentials


(Hemel Hempstead, date) Xtralis, a leading provider of intelligent fire detection and security solutions, today announced the appointment of a highly experienced security professional, Mike Ward, as Business Development Manager for its EMEA security business.

Mr Ward will be responsible for promoting the company’s comprehensive portfolio of integrated, IT-centric access control and video security solutions to installers, consultants and other specifiers, including major end-users. Xtralis’ proven digital video security systems range was recently enhanced with the acquisition of VSK, making it the first company to introduce access control and security solutions designed specifically to meet the demands of IT and security professionals.

Prior to joining the Xtralis team, Mr Ward was employed by Tyco-ADT as a consultant on major integrated projects, and has worked in the security industry – both in the UK and internationally – for nearly 20 years.
